For centuries, dogs have been loyal companions, protectors, and family members,

touching lives across the globe with their unwavering affection and unique

characteristics.

The coin’s coloured reverse portrays an image of the top five most popular dogs in the

world including (clockwise from the top) the courageous German Shepherd known as

a steadfast protector, the good-natured Bulldog with its distinctive appearance, the

elegant Poodle known for its intelligence and charm, the lovable Labrador Retriever, a

symbol of companionship and loyalty, and the curious and energetic Beagle. Each

animal is featured on a stylised background showcasing elements of their natural

environments such as rugged rocks, tranquil waters, blooming flowers, lush grass, and

towering mountains. At the centre of the coin is an image of a world map, symbolising

the universal admiration for these cherished companions.

The obverse depicts the Jody Clark effigy of His Majesty King Charles III, along with the

coin’s weight, purity, monetary denomination, and 2025 year-date.
