In 2025, to mark the 75th anniversary of Peanuts, Monnaie de Paris celebrates the famous gang of friends. Snoopy is the main character of the collection and decides to cross the Atlantic ocean to travel to France for his birthday.
The obverse of this coin features Snoopy in one of his iconic poses. The beagle smiles fondly as he hugs a heart. The number 75, referring to the anniversary celebrated in 2025, is engraved on the heart. The polished background of the coin features a motif of a bouncing Woodstock, aeroplanes and suitcases, a reference to travel.
On the reverse, against a background engraved with dog paw prints, Snoopy is nestled on the face value of the coin and looks up at his friend Woodstock perched on the letters of the euro or the word RF. The name Peanuts and the anniversary commemoration can also be found.
