This limited-edition release portrays our celebrated 2020 Year of the Mouse design and highlights the Chinese character for ‘mouse’ within a 1-gram gold insert.
Privy Mark Year of the Mouse Design
The coin’s reverse depicts two coloured mice foraging on husks of corn. Also included in the design is a 1-gram pure gold privy insert portraying the Chinese character for ‘mouse’, the inscription ‘MOUSE 2020’ and The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark.
Presentation Packaging and Numbered Certificate
The coin is presented in a classic black display case with a clear lid. The case is packaged in a beautifully illustrated shipper and accompanied by a numbered Certificate of Authenticity. When arranged together, this and the shippers of future coins in Australian Lunar Series III will form a diorama depicting the ancient myth of The Great Race involving all 12 animals in the zodiac.
