Seventy-five years on, the world stands ready to reflect upon the events of the War and acknowledge the enormity of the sacrifice and suffering it caused.
Anniversary Coin Design
The reverse of the coin depicts a stylised representation of a silhouetted soldier walking into the sunset and two wreaths encasing a central dove motif. The inscription ‘75 YEARS END OF WWII’ and The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark also appear in the design.
