This special edition Australian Kookaburra 1oz silver coin celebrates the beautiful state of Queensland with a coloured privy mark of the Cooktown Orchid, a plant native to the region and the state’s floral emblem.
Australian Coin Design
The coin’s reverse depicts a kookaburra perched on a roof at dawn with rays of light in the background. Also included is a coloured privy mark representation of a Cooktown Orchid, the inscription ‘AUSTRALIAN KOOKABURRA 30TH ANNIVERSARY’, The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark, and the weight and purity.
