This high relief release in the Australian Lunar Silver Coin Series II brings the latest 12-year cycle of the Chinese Lunar Calendar to a close with a stunning Year of the Pig design. High Relief Lunar Design
For outstanding impact, the coin is made with an extra-deep blank to accommodate its incredibly detailed high relief design. The reverse features a representation of a domesticated pig and four adorable piglets amid stylised foliage. The Chinese character for ‘pig’ and the inscription ‘Year of the Pig’ appear in the design with The Perth Mint’s traditional ‘P’ mintmark.
