An exclusive release for the Melbourne ANDA Money Expo held from 17-18 August 2019, this set contains a 1oz silver proof and 1oz bullion coin celebrating Australia’s kookaburra. The 1oz silver proof acoin combines a mirror-like polished background with delicately frosted relief while the 1oz silver bullion coin has the reverse appearance, featuring a highly polished relief and matt table.
Kingfisher Design
Each coin’s reverse depicts a kookaburra perched on a branch during sunset. The branch is submerged in a river, which is lined with wetland grasses and a gumtree. The design also includes the inscription ‘AUSTRALIAN KOOKABURRA’, the 2019 year-date, the weight and fineness and The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark.
Presentation Packaging
Each set is housed in a display case with a timber lid. Packaged within an illustrated shipper featuring the ANDA (Australasian Numismatic Dealer’s Association) logo alongside the dates of the Melbourne ANDA Money Expo, each set is accompanied by a numbered Certificate of Authenticity.
