Now struck from 99.99% pure silver, the Australian Kookaburra Bullion Coin Series was originally issued in 1990. In 2018, each coin portrays a stunning representation of the emblematic bush bird on a moonlit night.
Available in 1 kilo, 10oz, and 1oz sizes, the 1oz is restricted to a maximum mintage of 500,000 coins, whilst the larger sizes are unlimited. All coins are issued as legal tender under the Australian Currency Act 1965 and bear the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the year-date on the obverse.
