Poet, journalist, editor and solicitor, Andrew Barton “Banjo” Paterson’s poetry is well renowned across the land.
In 2014 we celebrate the 150th Anniversary of his birth on 17th February 1864.
Paterson wrote popular poems like “Clancy of the Overflow, The Man from Snowy River, Waltzing Matilda” and many more. However “Waltzing Matilda” is probably the most famous of all Australian ballads, considered by some an unofficial national anthem.
This medallion cover features 3 commemorative Medallions in a illustrated card along with full colour envelop featuring 3x 70c commemorative Australia Post Stamps.
First medallion features - The Man from Snowy River, The Second medallion - Mulga Bull's Bicycle and the Third medallion features - Waltzing Matilda.
