In the Centenary year of Canberra as a Capital city to the 'Aussie's'. Also the Australian Parliament House celebrates it's 25th Year since being officially opened by Queen Elizabeth II in 1988. The design for the architecture was chosen from a lot of entries submitted to an international design competition.
