Minted in Canberra between the years 1978 to 1991, the Pride of Australia gold coin series were produced in proof and uncirculated grades to exhibit Australia’s beloved native animals – the Wombat, Emu, Platypus, Frilled Neck Lizard, Tasmanian Devil, Echidna, and Squirrel Glider Possum. The $200 face value 10g 22-karat (91.67% purity) is highly collectible, with proof coins shipping in boxes, and uncirculated versions shipping in cardboard sleeves.
